Some of the information above relates to water sailing and comes from Australian Sailing. Even though the North East Windsport Club participates in water sailing events, at our "Discover Sailing" day we invite everyone who is interested in sailing to come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle before having a go at land sailing. Land sailing is a different experience from water sailing, however we are able to teach you the basic principles and techniques which are transferrable to water sailing. This sport can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Please come and have some fun.

Prerequisites

Please wear enclosed foot ware and bring a bike helmet and gloves. The club has some you can borrow if you don't have any.

Prerequisite: For safety reasons, participants must be confident in and around the water.
